Fantastic food in a great atmosphere. A must when we are in Montgomery. Everything I've tried is delicious ious. The smashed meatball pizza is always a take home item for us to enjoy later!

It's an intimate atmosphere with not too many tables, so be sure to arrive early so as to avoid a wait. Better yet, it would be a good idea to make reservations in advance because it's a very popular eatery. The two staff waiting on us were attentive, friendly, pleasant and knowledgeable. Our lunches were all wonderful! Two of us enjoyed the shrimp and grits tremendously, and the simple but tasty fried four cheese ravioli, while another was over the moon for the chicken and waffles. The wine selection was pretty good as well. We ordered the mimosas which was served with a pitcher of orange juice and cranberry with optional pineapple juice on the side. After the end of a great meal, we found out we had walked in an hour before they were closing, but they never let us know, never rushed us and made us feel very welcome. One of my favorite restaurants 10/10!

I was there with a big group of @16 ladies for a teaching conference. Jeremy was our server and he was GREAT! I've been to restaurants with large parties before and rarely do we have a server who can handle large groups. He got all of our orders correct and most of our food came out at about the same time. Jeremy was great at checking on our drinks and our food. Now the pizza I ordered wasn't great. GF pepperoni. I've had gf pizzas at many restaurants and SaZas wasn't great: it had an odd taste, too much cheese, & not enough sauce. So Jeremy deserves 5stars but my pizza gets 2 stars

Just enjoyed an unexpected, incredible meal during our stopover in Montgomery. SaZa is a hidden gem with amazing Italian food and impeccable service. Jeremy served my family tonight and was extremely helpful, made great suggestions, and really facilitated what was the best meal we've had out in a long time. I'd write more but I'm so FULL. Ugh... so good. Go try it. It's going to be one of my regular stops, now. For my own notes- so I know what to get again: the bolognese, add spicy sausage. Bread with oil, vinegar, and the special reduction sauce. Lobster ravioli for Sarah. Start with a blackberry margarita(?) and take them up on adding the blackberry purée. Get a reservation next time because the place is hoppin'

This was a really nice red sauce that I landed on by chance with a group. The service was good. Because the food is made in house, it was not instant, but it was reasonable. It was a cute place with a fun crowd. I will return.

I would have given a five-star review; however, I felt the server was shady by not providing a receipt for the meal. One I paid and requested the receipt, an 18% gratuity was added to the bill plus I tipped additional 10% not know if the 18% That's shady to me. The server would have told us he added gratuity for a large party. The food was terrific. The portions were phenomenal. I had the lasagna and the wedge salad; it was too much, which was great. My coworkers enjoyed their meals, but we were so hungry that there were no photos. Sorry. The space was welcoming, and it was great being in it.

For some serious Italian food in the Montgomery area, you need to check out SaZa. It definitely hits when it is late and you want something a bit heavy, but not over the top to tide you over for the night. I have to give a shout out to the staff here. We showed up very near their closing time. Even though I had tried to persuade my colleagues that we should go elsewhere. When we came in, our party was a bit large, but the staff accommodated us. I profusely apologized for us all, but they took it in stride. Inside it feels more of a sports bar meets restaurant, but it works. If you get the right seat you can see the kitchen work and do their magic, or you'll see the bar and many televisions. There is also outdoor seating available during the warmer months. I wasn't looking for anything extreme food wise. I had just eaten a few hours prior, but I did get an appetizer of Grandma's Meatballs. Three hefty meatballs swimming in sauce and topped with some fresh mozzarella. This comes with a small side of their garlic bread, which is kind of needed for this appetizer. It was the perfect size for me. The meatballs were well seasoned, a decent size, and when in that sauce, delectable. Each bite of the meatballs I made sure to get some of that mozzarella on each bite. After the meatballs and cheese were gone, I took to the garlic bread and used that to dip into the sauce and try my best at leaving a clean plate. The bread, fresh and had that garlic aroma which is so enticing. Dipping into the remaining sauce was amazing. Made me wish that I had more than the three slices, but again, the perfect size for me. Thank you again for accommodating us with our arrival being so close to your closing time. I truly appreciated it and know that the rest of my colleagues did as well.
